125th Anniversary

Doncaster Golf Club was formed in 1894 so in 2019 we celebrated our 125th year anniversary, with special events throughout the year and a week long festival in July.

Members enjoyed special events, a golfer/non golfer competition and BBQ to start off the anniversary week, a greenkeepers revenge match which was so popular it has been added as a yearly event to the fixture list. Finishing with a gala dinner on the Saturday evening the week was deemed a success raising over a fabulous £5000 for the Captains nominated charities for 2019:

Long standing member Mr David Horncastle produced a new publication touching briefly on his original centenary book and adding in events and details over the previous 25 years.
